After taking all of the squealing I could handle, I decided to replace the front brake pads. I had some trouble bleeding the brakes and ended up buying a Mity-vac brake bleeder as suggested earlier. This worked great. My question is how can you tell if the pads are seated properly? On inspection the inner pad looks as if it is dragging but I feel no resistance when pushing the bike. The outer pad has some free play....meaning I can actually move the pad up and down with my hand. (It is a very slight movement). The manual recommends to jack the bike up and rotate the front wheel. Is there an easy way to do this...especially if it's a one man job?
Thanks in advance for any help.
